Traditional Mats Impact On Your Customers Health

[IMAGE PLACEHOLDER: Shock and vibration of traditional mats]

Traditional golf mats consist of a top surface of artificial grass bonded to foam backing and they are often laid directly onto concrete. This means a number of negative side effects can arise when people continually hit from hard synthetic mats. The shock and vibration from a club hitting a hard mat travels up the shaft, into the wrist, arm, shoulder and back causing a number of problems.

Injuries caused by traditional mats:

  • Tendonitis
  • Golfer elbow – Medial Epicondylitis
  • Tennis elbow – Lateral Epicondylitis
  • Lower back pain
  • Golfers wrist – Hamates Fractures
  • Wrist pain – Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
